While you are welcome to drop by anytime throughout the term, you are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a tutor to make the most effective use of your time. Tutors focus on your individual needs: answering questions about assignments and papers you are working on for class and providing clarification and direction to help you meet your assignment requirements. Tutors can guide you through the editing and revising process so that you will be able to find and correct errors yourself. Tutors also serve as excellent resources who can help you identify learning strategies, which will assist you in improving your own writing process.
